On Sunday, May 18, 2008, Good Samaritan Hospital began operation of the former Dayton Heart Hospital, located at 707 S. Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, Dayton, Ohio.

With this change came a new name: Dayton Heart Hospital is now Dayton Heart & Vascular Hospital, Owned and Operated by Good Samaritan Hospital.

We want to assure you that there has been absolutely no disruption in service. Dayton Heart & Vascular Hospital patients have not experienced any changes in the outstanding cardiovascular care they've come to expect. Patients in the Greater Dayton area will continue to benefit from the top-ranked care that has been delivered by this heart hospital for nearly ten years.
